Three months after the initial invasion of South Veitnam by the North Vietnamese forces, a United States air mobile battalion has been dispatched deep into hostile territory to intercept retreating enemy forces. Unknown to the air mobile soldiers this area is also a mustering area for a North Vietnamese counter attack. The battle soon to follow will test the resolve of both sides and play a decisive role in the future of the armed conflict.

Forces
United States: Green team camo and colors as described on the website. Modern gear is allowed, period gear is encouraged.
North Vietnam: Tan team camo and colors as described on the website. Modern gear is allowed, period gear is encouraged.

How the event will run:
Each team will start with several groups in chosen predeployed positions all over the play area. Each predeploy group will have a staff commander with them. The commanders for each team will have their own objectives and mission sets which may interact and intersect through the day. Completing an objective early can free up players to assist other commanders with their objectives.


EVENT FEATURES
These are to be representative of how these armies would fight and their capabilities

United States:
1. Advanced medic rules. 1 buddy revive with 2 additional available from a commander or medic.
2. A mobile respawn which can be captured by the other team. This is in addition to being able to respawn at your base.
3. Three commanders to direct forces and organize objectives.
4. We are working on the logistics of bringing out a M113 APC.

North Vietnam:
1. Normal medic rules. 2 revives given from a medic or commander
2. Multiple stationary respawns hidden in the play area which can be destroyed by the other team. These are in addition to being able to respawn at base.
4. 4 commanders to direct and organize players to objectives.


OTHER:
Orange smoke grenades may be used by either team. Any players contacted by orange smoke must immediately leave the area effected by the smoke as it "burns their skin and lungs."

Schedule:
8:30 - Field opens for registration and chrono.
10:15 - Briefing
11:00 - Game Start
16:30 - Game ends
